How We Do It

Opening a dialogue is the first step towards community empowerment.

• By going door to door, we show an interest in our neighbors,
  actively seeking the real issues that affect their lives, and recognizing that their ideas for change are strong contributions towards our community’s growth and future empowerment.
  
• By hosting activities and events in the community, we bring people from all walks of life together (i.e. Dinners, Cookouts, Block Parties, etc.).
  
• By coordinating with local social, political and economic organizations (i.e. churches, government, educational institutions, non-profits, employers, etc.), we will work together to organize Job Fairs, Business Expos, Art Shows, and other events that bring awareness to the tangible resources in our community.
